Learning opportunities

Workshops and courses across Oxfordshire

Teaching is my favourite thing! I run different regular and one-off classes in Oxfordshire.

Find out more below or get in touch if you want to collaborate on any learning opportunities.

Regular evening classes at Activate Learning

These are friendly regular evening classes. Sewing machines are provided, so you have everything you need to get started with quilting.

The focus changes each term, in rotation, covering: 'intro to quilting'; 'hand and machine appliqué techniques'; 'modern and traditional stars'; and 'your first quilt in a month'. I also offer a social group for returning students.

One-off workshops and project days

I host a range of day-long workshops across Oxford.

These include introduction to english paper piecing, introduction to appliqué, make your own hot water bottle and make your own Christmas stocking.

Dates are announced via social media, or get in touch if you are interested in a particular workshop.

Bespoke one-to-one and small group sessions

I host monthly sessions at my studio in Oxford, designed to help you finish a project with guidance and motivation or get started on something you can complete at home. These sessions are ideal if you want to create something special but aren’t sure where to begin.

You’re welcome to come on your own, or many people choose to book with a friend for a fun and creative experience together!
